Sharing more than just coffee...

Sharing more than just coffee...

Hello everyone!
Just thought I'd pop in and talk a bit about why I'm here, and where I plan to take this wonderful adventure at Gahwagi.
I am essentially a tinkerer at heart. Lego's were always my favorite toy to just build fun stuff on the spot! I'm a coffee roaster, visual artist, UXer, video gamer, kitchen guru, and a proud dad to one human, and two feline companions. My life has always been about exploring, creating, and sharing the joy found in the little things. And today, I'm thrilled to share with you a project that's very close to my heart.
As I'm getting everything going full speed on Gahwagi.com, I'm also taking this opportunity to make this more than just an online shop. In the coming weeks, I'll be sharing regular updates, stories, and snapshots of our journey here at Gahwagi. But these won't be your typical digital shots. Instead, I'll be capturing our moments through the vintage lenses of my two favorite cameras - my Yashica Mat 124G, and my Mamiya RB67. These cameras, with their rich history and unique character, add a timeless quality to our story, making each image a piece of art in itself.
The pictures on the site may look very old, but they're actually very recently taken and scanned just for you all here! Except for the ones of my mom - those ARE old! Fun fact, back when you only had black and white photos, slides could actually be in color! So strange to have a color pic of mom in her teens! I'll use my phone for images and videos here and there, of course, but the vast majority of images will be taken on my medium format film cameras.
So, here's to the start of something special. Stay tuned for our stories, captured one frame at a time.
Warmest regards,
Nasser
